The “Environmental Justice Areas” are San Francisco zip codes 94124 and 94107. That makes up Bayview, some of SOMA, Dogpatch, Hunter’s Point, and Potrero Hill. These areas have a special $5000 incentive for residential solar installations, bigger than all the other residential subsidies. In these regions, it does not matter whether the installer is “local” or not.
