San Francisco Solar Energy Incentive Program Info

This meeting started off gloomy, but Mirkarimi made it clear we’re going to take what we got and run with it next week. So that’s exciting. One week and this things starts, hopefully. The only concern is, over the next 7 days, what language are they going to ask to have injected into the pilot program and will it screw up the effectiveness of the program.

It’s not typical for people to really applaud here, but when Mirkarimi said, essentially, “enough is enough, let’s take what we have and pass it next week and call it a day,”  everyone applauded.

Basically, they hear this bill every week, 40 people stand up and speak in it’s favor, and the McGoldrick makes some excuse for delaying it.   Hopefully that will end next week.
